Problem with printer sharing thru USB hub
I just bought and configured an Aiport Extreme (n) to use printer sharing on my Epson 5740 printer. I have no trouble using the printer sharing when the printer is connected directly to the AEBS.
However, I also want to use the router with a hard drive so I tried connecting a USB hub to the AEBS, and the printer and hard drive to the hub.
The hard drive works fine this way, but the AEBS does not recognize the printer even if I reboot the AEBS. When I plug the printer in directly and reboot the AEBS, it works fine again.
Any thoughts on what might be causing this, or tips on how to fix it?
