Question

Runtime error!

Can any one help me with this please!!!!

program:c:\program files\itunes\itunes.exe

this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unsual way.
please contact the applications support team for more information.

I'm getting the same thing.

Crashes with this message on launch, happens every time. Tries rebooting, didn't help. The main screen shows, followed by this error, then iTunes closes.

Edit: ignore me, my problem went away after reinstalling.

I had the same problem until a few minutes ago.
This is what I did to solve it:
- disabled the internet
- started iTunes (no error now)
- opened "Preferences"
- unchecked "Check for updates automatically"
- closed iTunes
- enabled the internet
- started iTunes again to see if it worked (and it did!)
