My ipod video won't play video

Play them through the video menu.

When you click on the video the album artwork screen should pop up. the video should be playing in that. if not you have to buy a BLOODY CONVERTER! Why the **** should we buy converters for ipods that cost over 200 bucks? ITS RIDCULOUS!!!!!

No...the album artwork should not pop up IF they are selecting the video from the Video menu. If you access a video through the Music or other menus (which they are accessible from) it will play just like an audio/song file and not as a video.

now my question is how do you play a video from the menu, im new at this and i have no idea how you do this.
someone please help my patience level is getting lower!

If you have videos on your iPod, you want to access them from the Video menu. At the main menu on your iPod, you should see (depending on which settings you actually have turned on) Music, Photos, Videos, etc. If you don't see Video in your main menu, go into Settings, Main Menu and turn Video on so that it shows up in you main menu. Play the video from there. If you access a video through the album, artist or other menus, it will just show album artwork and play the audio, like any other song file.

I have some movies and one TV show.
Up until a few days ago, I was able to see them both fully.
Now, I hear the sound but only see the artwork.

I few some by going to the video menu and then the movies menu. The TV show, I see my going to the video menu and then
TV shows.

Worked in the past, but now only get the sound and art.
ipod is 2 months old.

I updated the Itunes software to latest version today in hopes of correcting.

It sounds like you are viewing through the proper menu, so I'm not sure what is causing your particular problem. Alot of times this happens because of what I mentioned earlier...people not realizing they need to access through the Video menu. Perhaps someone else in the forum will have an answer for you.

I just ran a restore on my iPod.
All songs, videos etc are erased from the ipod and recopied.

MY VIDEOS NOW RUN PROPERLY.
