Issues with sbcglobal.net email account......

Did anyone have issues with accessing their sbcglobal.net account via iPhone?

I was able to access my sbcglobal.net email account with help from apple support, and discovered that only my "inbox" was visible... All my other mail folders was not visible... In addition, I was not able to access my sbcglobal.net account via any internet browser (ie, firefox or safari) until I have disabled the account on my iPhone....

Anyone have any configuration tips for me?

Hi MacGRDEsq,

Thanks for the info.... I tried the settings and I was able to access my sbcglobal account, but I can only see my "inbox, sent and trash" mailbox. I was not able to see the other folders I have set up... In addition, I was not able to access my sbcglobal email account until via any web browser (Safari, IE or Firefox) until I deleted the email setting for my sbcglobal account from my iPhone.... Is there any other setting I might have missed?

Cheers,
thui

The problem depends on how you set up your folders. If you've set up your folders on your computer, then they will not show up on your iPhone because iTunes does not sync your email folders with the iPhone.

If, however, your folders were set up using the web client, then you can access your folders if your email account is setup using IMAP (POP does not give you access to your folders). Here is an ATT help article on how to set up your account on your iPhone: http://helpme.att.net/article.php?item=11255
