The Ghost of old iCals

I've had this problem for a long time; I've deleted old calendars in iCal but they still show up as options when I'm syncing iCal to my iPod. I've even deleted calendars in user>Library>Application Support>iCal>Sources to "reset" iCal and created new calendars (and it works fine), but iTunes still shows these old calendars that I can't get rid of.

It even is affecting syncing to my iPhone. I figured this was an iCal question rather than an iTunes question, but either way, am I doing something wrong>

Ah, after doing a little searching, I found an answer. In /Users/name/Library/Application Support/SyncServices/Local there are numerous folders, each with a clientdata.txt file. In there was one for iCal. I moved the folder to the Desktop (just to be sure) and relaunched iCal.

All those mysteriously "missing" calendars that iTunes kept seeing suddenly appeared. I deleted them, created new ones and opened iTunes and voilà! The right calendars were showing up and syncing properly to my iPhone and iPod.
