Activity Monitor-pbs

Can someone tell me what "pbs" would stand for in the Activity Monitor? It keeps coming up and looks like it is running something. What does "pbs" stand for?

Hi Betty

pbs is the Paste Board Server, which is the clipboard in Finder.
