Default Application for mms links

Hi,
I recently subscribed to a streaming tv web site. However, the links all open in windows media player. How can i change this setting? I would like to use VLC or Quick time for the links.

Thanks

Hi

Go to wherever you have directed your downloads be sent (the Safari Preferences>General default is the "desktop"). There, highlight one of the Window Media files. Then Apple Key + I to open the Info panel. Go to the "open with" section. Click on the drop down menu, either select another player if it is listed or select "Other", navigating to your player of choice and select it.

Back to the Info panel, same section, select "change all". That will change all similar present and future files to your new player designation.

Thanks. That was helpful. However, in this case, the URL is hidden. When i click the link, a new id is created every time, so copying the link does not work..

I solved this problem by using RCDefault App. A cool utility which allows to configure what applications should be used for each type of links.

Thanks to both you guys again
