Spyder 2 Pro

Hi

I've just taken delivery of a Spyder 2 Pro.

It does my external monitor OK, but...

...when I try to calibrate the MBP LCD screen it hangs just after running all the tests!

I get a message telling me that the program has filed to repopen

I've set all the power saving and screen saver times to never

Can anyone suggest settings I need to use?

Any help gratefully received

I've used my Spyder2 Pro successfully on my MBP with no problem.
Have you downloaded the latest version of the software from Colorvision? If not, that's the first thing I'd try.
If that doesn't work, try the standard Mac troubleshooting approach: delete the Spyder preference file (and empty the trash); re-boot, etc.
If that doesn't work, I'd contact Colorvision for tech support. No reason it shouldn't work for you if it does for me.
By the way, there are reports of a number of OTHER software profile packages having trouble on the MBP, so I'm grateful that the Spyder software has run at least twice in a row for me without incident.
Good luck.

I've just received Spyder2 Suite (not the PRO), an Eizo monitor and a new printer. I used Spyder on the monitor, but the print still came out darker than I expected. Do I need to calibrate my MBP as well....does the laptop screen "feed" the other screen??? I tried to calibrate the MBP but can't find any way to adjust the RGB colours...... any help is appreciated!!!!
