convert 4:3 to 16:9?

is there any way to convert a 4:3 video (16:9 anamorphic) to 16:9 in imovie? i edited the video in final cut and exported it still anamorphic but i dont have final cut on my computer to convert it back.

or is there some program i can download to do this?
