Open .mdf / .mds files ?

Open .mdf / .mds files ?

Hi all,
how can I open these files? It's Windoze format. I looked around in the Internet, found some advice (renaming it to .iso, burning it with Toast...), but none worked.

I just rename the .mdf to .img and burn it with Disk Utility. I've done many tis way with no problems.

Thanks a lot for the hint but the CD that came out wasn't readable.

The mdf files seem to be OK; I could convert them to aiff - but now it is one long track that I can' split.

I tried this, too:

"Image could not be burnt. Not recognized."

Pffff......... This is what the world would look like if it was ruled by Windoze apps.

Is it for an Audio CD. Disk utility cannot handle Audio CD formats at all. iTunes is the only Apple way of burning Audio CDs. Toast might be able to do it, but not by renaming. It will need both files. Try asking in the Toast forum
