how do i reassemble the imac G3?

Question

how do i reassemble the imac G3?

i have a slot load 233mhz. i took it apart to see the inside to see if it had the type of ribbon cable i wanted but, it did'nt. I cannot seem to get the case back together, it gets stuck half way through. anyone have a walkthrough website or know how to do it. please answer back quickly!

Power Mac G4 400mhz, iMac G3 400mhz, iMac G3 233mhz. iMac G3 350mhz, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

Not sure what you're asking, halfway through what?
Putting the sled back in is tricky. The cables have to be just right, the hooks on the rear of the sled sometimes have to be pushed inside the plastic case so they clear and the two metal protrusions on each side of the mass store box have to be under the plastic guide rails.

Your iMac 233Mhz is not a slot loading machine but a tray loading machine. Just wanted to post this in case that was what was causing you trouble finding help online for a walk through of disassembly/reassembly of the machine.

i managed to get it back together after hours of frustration, it just needed a little more muscle.
