iPhone battery icon green or grey?

Question

iPhone battery icon green or grey?

It seems that the battery indicator changes from green to grey depending on which screen you are on. Is this the same on your iphone? Any reason for this?

I'm thinking that it's color coordinated to match the "theme" of the screen you're on.

I have also noticed that my battery occasionally flashes gray/white but have not looked for a definite pattern.

Makes sense. I thought mine wasn't showing a charge but I did notice it is green in some screens and gray in the "Home" screen.
