WI-fi and Airport Extreme

That's weird because i'm using the same encryption on my Airport express and the iphone stays connected with no issues, Does your Airport have the latest firmware?

I, too, have this setup -- and my phone connects whenever i'm home without any issues and i've never had a problem since adding my network to the phone. Something is off - old firmware, settings, etc.

I am having this exact same problem. I am using the Airport Extreme Version 4.2.3 and have not updated my firmware in quite some time. Is it alright to update at this point with the current update?

I had the same problem with the iPhone not responding to my Wi-Fi connection. When it did respond, it was PAINFULLY slow, or reverted to the EDGE connection. I tried other posted "fixes". Some of those fixes worked very temporarily, or not at all. I'm sharing Roadrunner with my Airport Extreme with Airtunes. Earlier today, I updated the firmware in my AE to v6.3. So far, it's fixed the problem. Wi-Fi connection is FAST and reliable! I only hope the fix is permanent. Check out:

I had this issue...apple tech advised I reset network settings...fixed and never a problem again
