I deleted ical and now can't get it back

I deleted ical because i tried some menu bar plug in that totally killed it. i have downloaded it now from a variety of sites and every time it tells me that it cannot be installed on my computer. i really like ical and want it back. what's going on?

macbook w/ intel cre 2 duo, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

Welcome to Apple Discussions.

Custom installs in Mac OS X 10.4 explains how to reinstall a part of Mac OS X 10.4 without reinstalling the entire system. After you reinstall iCal you should then download and install the Mac OS X 10.4.10 Combo Update v1.1 (Intel) to bring iCal back to the most current release.
