How do I clean the iPhone mic and speaker holes?

Hi - So there are some large pieces of dust from my pocket in the speaker holes at the bottom of the phone. Does anyone know how i could clean this stuff out? I've tried compressed air and tape...

I would try a vacuum cleaner with the crevice tool attached and a straw taped to the end (sealing the end of crevice tool as well). I've done that before for other jobs and it works great.

I have lint jammed in the holes of mine. I have not tried this yet, but I expect it will work. Compressed air I think is a BAD idea and it may jam it in so that you can’t suck it out.

I have the new case mate and hope that will prevent it in the future.
