To avoid scratches/dents on your iPhone...

As I've been going around reading everyone's post about...scratches and event dents? on the iPhone....well heres what I have noticed.... The DOCK is amazing but for some reason, the chrome part of the iPhone is somehow resilient of keys and those kinds of stuff because I put it in my pocket on the first day along with my keys and cards and etc the whole day and not a scratch on it but the past 3 days I've been docking it, the plastic dock does a couple of scratching to it.
Dents? I haven't seen that but here's what I have observed from my iPhone. When it sync, there is barely heat on the phone but when its charging only, the heat is crazy. I plugged it in to charge and I even turned it off and as you know, a part of the back is plastic. So if you dock it overnight charging, the heat probably does that dent while on the DOCK, so I dont know if Apple has any software fix to this but one advice I have is to avoid the dock FOR NOW.

Hope this helpful for anyone.
