iPhone Screen Artifacts

Anyone seeing some strange screen artifacts appearing in the text, around the AT&T logo in the top or forward back buttons during WiFi data loads. It would seem to me as a re-fresh issue with the graphics card. Does not seem to hinder performance. But is a little strange.

Well I took my nice new iPhone and hooked it up to iTunes and did a restore. After about 10 or so minutes it was finished. I fired it up and low and behold the problem was still there. I thought is was only happening on WiFI connections but it is happening on EDGE as well. I guess the next stop for me will be the local Apple Store to chat with a Genius.

I will post back when I get it going.

Ok gang. Well not soon after I posted this message regarding my restore of my iPhone did I not get a call on my iPhone from none other the Apple iPhone Support asking me about my screen artifact issues.

After about 10 min on the phone the advisor, who was super cool, said that they had never seen anything like this before and that I should drop by my local Apple Store and swap out the unit for a new one.

He issued a case number for this phone and I piled in the car and headed out to get a new phone.

I was in the Apple Store for around 20 min as the Genius swapped my phone out.

This has been the best experience by far of all of my Apple experiences. And I have had a lot of them. I have been a loyal Apple user for 20+ years now.

Thanks Apple both Retail and Support. You guys ROCK!
