change octave

Hey -

Is there a way to change the octave of an entire track without doing it one note at a time?

Using the software keyboard I put in the notes to a whole song and its one octave too low.

open the track editor (scissors icon) and use the Region Pitch control.

also is there a way to set every note to a certain note velocity?

I do a select all and then change the note velocity and they do get louder and softer but they dont all go to the same velocity for some reason.

Or select all the notes in the region, and move them up or down the octave.

Velocity is a relative thing in GB. When you select a group of notes and change velocity, they will go up as high as the loudest note in the group (127-Maximum level).
