Difference between 1.5gb and 2gb of RAM

Will I notice a big difference or any sort of difference if I upgrade to 2gb from 1.5gb of RAM? Since i only have the Core Duo, i can only put 2 gigs in there, and i found some pretty cheap memory that fits this computer, so i thought i would go ahead and order it, if there was a difference in speed/performance. The only app i use that would need all that memory is FCE and maybe later on Aperture.

Hello mac fan92

I did that very same thing 3 weeks ago. I notice only a very slight improvement, no where near as much as the upgrade from 512MB to 1.5GB. 1.5GB was realy enough for my everyday uses like Safari, iTunes, iPhoto, MS Word X (ppc) and a load of widgets all open at the same time. I mostly decided to go 2GB because of the $38.00 price, heck early last year I gave $130.00 for the exact same 1GB module. So I guess for me it was for GP (the general principle) thing.
