I have totally screwed my TV hard drive, however I have gotten everything back installed and the partitions set back up through the use of this tutorial

http://wiki.awkwardtv.org/wiki/Preparea_HardDrive

The one issue I have is the fact that i do not have the efi.dmg file.

Is there anyone on here who can provide me with this file? It shouldnt be any more than 32MB since that is the size of the partition. I have everything else (OSBoot, Recovery, Media) for the drive. However without the EFI partition files it will not even boot the drive.

All i get is an icon of the TV with a ? flashing above it.

I contacted Apple and they are going to be of no assistance since I opened my TV it would be an out of warranty repair. Their procedures are to just replace the units so they are saying that I just have to buy another TV. Whatever 🙂 I know there is a way to fix this.

If anyone can provide me with the EFI image i would greatly appreciate it. If you have hacked your TV and do not know how to create the image, refer to the tutorial above.

Had i known about this partition in the beginning i would have created the image.

Thanks,
Joseph Crawford
