I love how iPhone handles the internet but the one thing I wish I could have would be a version of Flash Player so I could see video (and other stuff) integrated on the webpage. For example, I can't watch videos on ESPN.com or on the web based version of YouTube. Is there a way to get this kind of stuff or am I just a moron? (you don't have to reply to that last part)
I'd love to do do that, but when I click your link, it's saying "Page not found."
Does anyone know when this might be fixed? I was hoping I'd be able to use Pandora Internet Radio on my iPhone, but because of the flash player thing I can't, and I'm also disappointed at how many sites I can't see properly because of needing Flash Player. Other than that, I love my iPhone, though!
I left feedback begging them ** NOT ** to allow flash. It would be the worst mistake in the world. If they do allow it.. i want the option to turn it off system wide.
Done. It was a shock not to be able to get a lot of site content - and I kept getting the Adobe.com download site, so I could download flash player. That doesn't work, either, of course.
Thanks!
All depends if one of the videos on Youtube you want to watch is one of the 10,000 already programmed by Youtube to play on iphone. Most of Youtubes videos will be able to be watched by this fall using the Youtube home button or the Youtube website.
Flash is not only used by YouTube. That's why I'm hoping they'll eventually get it on the iPhone - for all of the other sites I'd like to visit on my iPhone that don't work without Flash.
