Podcast not in available via search

My podcast was approved on 7/13 - I know that the back-log was probably long due to the outage of new podcast submission.

I tried searching via iTunes for the keyword, podcast name and artist, bnut nothing shows. I can access via the link that was provided via the acceptance email..

Is there a way to see to know that it's in the queue? Here's my link:

It takes several days on a "normal" day for podcast to show up in search.
In the meantime, you might want to improve the likelihood of your podcast being returned in search results by re-visiting your podcast's description.
iTunes mainly uses your podcasts Title and <itunes:summary> or description tag to use for search results. The spec actually recommends limiting keywords in the <itunes:keywords> tag (it will only use the first 12 in any event) mainly using it for common misspellings and such.
Currently, your podcast's description is just your podcast's title. Making this description (the <itunes:summary>) tag as robust as possible will greatly improve the chances that your podcast will be found. Try to intelligently weave your keywords into the description of your podcast. Avoid "keyword Spamming" where you just have random lines of keywords...
Something like:
"Welcome to the Bay Area Podcast, brought to you by your friends at Zimodecast. In this podcast we talk about everything from Coffee and Art to Travel and Music in the Bay Area. Every week we provide helpful tips on fun events around the Bay Area. If you enjoy a good cup of joe while you listen to the latest in Bay Area Music this podcast is for you."
I haven't a clue what your podcast is about...but you get the point. I think that the <iTunes:Summary> has a limit of 4000 characters...ample space to explain what your podcast is about and increase the chance that someone will find your podcast and actually be interested in subscribing.

Mine was approved on the same day and I'm not coming up in the search parameters either. I've submitted new podcasts before, but never had one take this long to show in the search fields. If anyone would be so kind as to take a look to see if I made a mistake somewhere, I'd be very grateful.

Did your podcast ever show up on iTunes? Anyone else having this problem? I submitted my Podcast on July 14th and it was approved on the morning of July 16th, with an email from Apple/iTunes stating that my podcast should show up in iTunes in a FEW hours. It has now been 2 plus days and I cannot find my podcast in iTunes anywhere!

Anyone know what is going on?

I have no clue on what is going on either. I got my podcast approved on July 9th and I still can't search for it.

Is there anything I can do? Is there any way to talk to apple about this? My guess is no but I thought I'd ask.

Here's my link which does work with missing artwork of course:

I am having the exact same problem. I submitted my work podcast at about the same time, and although it appears in the store through a direct link, it's not appearing in the search.

My keywords are very accurate and straightforward, so I'm not sure why it's not popping up. It also does not appear to be updating new episodes on the store link, although they show up through a manual iTunes subscription to the RSS feed.

So I looked through each of the podcasts urls that were posted here...brought up their podcast directory pages and then tried to search on the title.
Zimode's "Bay Area Podcast" is found.
RyPhone's "iPhoneDevcast - podcast about developing applications..." is found
Jeff in DC's "John Hopkins SAIS events" is found
CWB003528's "Gardening - Perennials and Roses" is found.

Only Jerry Pine's "Everything Algae" and Udder's "Northeast MTB Report" couldn't be found by searching.

The only similarities I can see between these podcasts that also differentiate them from the ones that can be found, is that each only has one episode.
Don't know if that is significant or not...maybe search is excluding them based on lack of episodes...don't know.
