Bleeping when using Lexicon Omega

I have been experiencing a 'Bleep' when attempting to use the Omega USB audio interface. I do get audio but approx every 30 seconnds I get a bleep thru both speakers and headphones, connected to the Omega.
I do not get this when using internal audio or my Tone Port UX1. It shows up as 'Lexicon Omega Demo'in core audio(?)
The Omega doesnt do this when used with a PC.
It has been returned to HarmanPro for a repair. It has now been replaced but the issue remains??
Any advice would be greatfully received

Most likely: The Omega software is operating in a demo mode wherein the developer inserts that annoying 'bleep' deliberately until you (typically) input the serial number and activate the "paid" program. Once you figure out how to activate the commercial application it should function normally.

This is my guess. What did the Lexicon tech support folks tell you?

Thank's for the input and you may yet be right. HarmonPro don't know anything about that and Lexicon don't appear to be 'sharing nicely' with them. There is no software to speak of, it's allegedly Core Audio. No mac drivers up on the site, 'cause we don't need 'em. Trying to set it up as an aggregate device caused my system to crash. As I say this is the second Lexicon Omega that has exhibited this problem. The unit is now out of warranty although they started to look at it inside the first year.
And I went mac to avoid this kind of issue. I'm getting by with the tone port UX1 (no midi/no phantom power)
What next.......

Harmon Pro were good enough to send me two other Omegas both had the same issue. They have now sent me a Lamda.
This worked out the box. It has slightly less facilities but does what I need. Job done.
And Harman have been good enough to compensate me for my troubles.
