iPod crashes in the background

Has anyone experienced music abruptly stopping in the background when you're using other applications such as Safari while listening to music? I can consistently repro this issue even after I power cycle the phone. I wonder if this is a bug or a problem with some of my tracks.

Power Mac G5 Dual 2Ghz, 2.5GB RAM, ATI X800 XT, 23" Cinema HD Display, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

I have read several posts of folks experiencing this problem. You may want to try restoring your iPhone to see if that clears it up. If not, I would contact Apple tech suppport. I could be a track. Does it happens with the same tracks every time? What kind of encoding did you use on those tracks?

It's a known bug.

Try a hard reset on your phone... that cleared mine up.

Hold the 'home' button, and the top 'power' button. You'll see the apple logo when the phone resets.

ditto. home+power reset does help with this issue.
