Green screen track marks

I am editing a music video that was shot on green screen with track marks. What is the easiest way to position and I guess move your background so they stay with the track marks? Some of the shots are using a crane so the camera is moving alot. I want the floor to be one background and the wall to be another. Any suggestions? Thanks.

You want to do a 3D motion track. This is not something Final Cut does.

FCP can do limited 2D tracking with plugins, but to do it that would look probably pretty bad.

You want to create 3D track information with something like Boujou, export the track info and create your 3D work in something like Maya or Cinema 4D, and then do your comping in After Effects or Shake.

To expect FCP, which is an editing program, to do all this is pretty much folly.

I don't have those programs. If anybody wants to see what I'm working on it's another contest that Ozzy is doing. You download the footage which was shot on a green screen and edit the video using whatever background you want. I am having a hard time keying out the motion markers. I probably need another program to do that.

Those are tracking marks that you'll need to mask out. They would normally get masked out in the compositing process, which is far more intricate than just pulling a key off the green.

There are better tools than standard FCP for roto. Silhouette Roto comes to mind. I'm sure others will have other suggestions.

I didn't think of that. The only problem is, it's gonna take a lot of time since there are a bunch of markers. I don't even think it's worth my time. The last contest they had you could at least win a camera. This time it's just the official video for myspace and you get to meet Ozzy. The last one I did I just left the markers in. I am out of ideas on how I won't to edit this thing anyway.
