iTunes Crashes On Vista

Every time I try to run iTunes videos - such as very simple video podcasts directly from the iTunes server - it Crashes iTunes within a few seconds...

BTW: I have done all the possible updates...

Q: Has anyone else experienced this behavior? Do you know any way around this problem?

G4 Dual 1.25, Mac OS X (10.4.9)

I'm having the same problem and I have windows vista..........I didn't start having this problem untill I upgrade to the latest version 😟

Someone thought that if my Vista was 64 - bit it might be causing a problem - but - I checked and it says 32 - bit operating system on my AMD 64 x2 turion HP dv6000.

someone else suggested that I uninstall and the reinstall the software - so I might try that...

any other suggestions?

Having the same problem here.

Sad thing is the video I purchased is having a contest where there is a puzzle in the video to solve.

Shame if I can't get it to play before its over.

Itunes exclusive no less.

Oh well 😟

I just uninstalled and reinstalled both QT and iTunes - and it still crashes video podcasts (right from itunes store)...

I have the same problem...in fact, I can even get iTunes to open at all! I only started having this problem with the newest version of iTunes.

I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I've seen a lot of suggestions to install additional drivers or uninstall other programs, but not being super computer savvy I don't really want to **** around with my hardware/software too much...I would end up really screwing something up.

Can Apple put out some kind of help document or FAQ for all the the various problems with Vista and this new iTunes because it seems like a lot of people or having problems...

Me too, at first I thought it was my Ipod, but itunes does work on Vista and hope they find a fix soon

I have the same problem, you'd think that Apple would see all these posts and do something about it. This is making me regret buying an iPod. I should have bought a Zune...
