Quicktime 7 and Alcohol 120% DemoShield Error

I recently came a cross this problem and it has been pretty frustrating. I wanted not only to bring more attention to the problem from Apple but to point to possible solutions.

I could not find any reference yet to this problem on this forum so I hope this helps.

That post is from December 2002. The current version of QuickTime for XP and Vista is 7.2.0.x, and the current version of QuickTime for Windows 2000 is 7.1.6.x ... do you still get the same issue with more current versions of QuickTime, and more current versions of the DemoShield technology?
