Blackmagic Decklink Extreme Users...
To those of you familiar with this card (or similar), a couple questions.
I have a Blackmagic Decklink Extreme in my G5 2.5x2/4GB PCI-X from 2005, using FCS2.
In the System Settings -> Effect Handling tab, should any of these be set to the Decklink or is the FCP effect handling better/faster/etc in FCS2?
Besides possibly using for hardware processing, what are its current applications? I use it to capture from betacam decks into FCP occasionally (10 Bit Uncompressed SD looks great), and am using the Y Output for composite monitoring into a broadcast monitor. Not much else.
