What's the latest version of Safari 2?

Hey all,

For a variety of reasons, I "downgraded" from the Safari 3 Beta back down to Safari 2. I moved the Safari icon from the Applications folder to the Trash, then used the "Optional Installs" package from my restore disk to re-install Safari 2.

Everything seemed to work like it was supposed to, and now according to "About Safari" in the menu bar, I'm running 2.0.3. Two questions:

1) I've got it in my head that 2.0.4 is the latest version of Safari 2 out there. But, when I run Software Update, it says all my software is up to date. So, am I current, or am I 0.0.1 short?

1a) If 2.0.4 is the latest version, where/how can I get it?

2) Was the above downgrade procedure more or less correct?

Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Chip

2. No. The download of Safari 3 beta includes an UNinstaller which, when used, restores you to Safari 2.0.4 (if that is what you were running) as well as restoring all the system files that were also changed (the reason why this install required a restart).

Best thing you can do is download Safari 3 again and use the accompanying uninstaller.
