Yellow spots on the screen

Do you also have yellow spots on the screen? They appear to be 'under' the glass. Some sort of malfunction with the screen. Is there liquid under the glass? Almost like the screen is getting too hot and making slight 'burn' marks.

Anyone else have this problem?

To be honest, I thought I saw these yellow splotches (small splotches) myself, early when I bought it.

I thought I was looking at a bright yellow light (like glancing at the outdoor light) and then looked at the iPhone screen. (And you know when you stare at something bright and look elsewhere quickly, you get that natural aversion to bright light affect.)

Then the next day I saw it again on the iPhone, knowing that I didn't look outside at all.

Thus, you may be right, it might have something to do with the heat generated by the phone.

However, since then I've never seen those yellow splotches again. I have had the phone since the iDay.

I started seeing two yellow blotches shortly after purchasing the iPhone. But they are not always there. It was then that I noticed the slightly yellow spots occasionally on the bright white of a computer screen as well. The spots are very noticeable if I tilt my head from side to side.

I wondered if my eyes had damage, so I had an eye exam the other day. The eyes are fine. The eye doctor also saw yellow spots on the iPhone too. The effect is more noticeable if you view the top level email accounts screen that is mostly white then switching the iPhone between the portrait and landscape mode.

The doctor couldn't explain why these spots appear!

I see these blotches in my vision as well, and while the first time I noticed them was on the iPhone, I, too, now can see them on a brightly backlight LCD screen, a la my laptop.

I have a couple of vitreous floaters, I wonder if it could have something to do with them? I DO NOT think its a problem with the phone though, most likely a biological reaction to the bright LCD 😉
