Documents folder keeps crashing

Documents folder keeps crashing

I'm having a huge problem accessing my Documents folder and my Home folder. They keep crashing everytime I try to open them. As far as I know, I didn't change anything in my settings and I didn't install any new hardware.
Can somebody help me with this?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

Hi Newsdummy,

welcome to macbook forum.

Try to repair your permission by opening application folder > utilities > disk utility> repair permission.

You can also use third party program like Onyx, machelpmate, or applejack to do that job with additional bell and whistle.
