Built-in iSight is crooked

I'm fairly new to Macbooks and webcams, so I'm not sure whether this is common or not. I don't use my built-in iSight for iChat, only iMovie or HD or Photo Booth. The picture always turns out uneven. Is this normal for a Web cam or is there something wrong with it? The videos and pictures I've seen taken with webcams were never uneven. Is there anything I can do?

No, it is not normal for your iSight's pictures to be uneven.

Try all relevant suggestion for built-in iSight in Apple's How to Troubleshoot iSight.

If your problem persists, contact Apple or an Apple-Authorized Service Provider for a professional check.

I too have this issue. The isight is not crooked but appears to be skewed to the right a bit. So for me to be in the center of the camera view I need to sit to the right of my computer by about 8-12 inches. I have this exact same issue on both my new MacBook and my new iMac 20inch I just got yesterday.

Is this a so called "feature" of apple, or do they have a production issue in Shanghai that has gone unchecked?
