Yahoo Messenger

I just downloaded Yahoo Messenger, I read that there isn't a chat option for the Mac verison of Yahoo Messenger. Is there any other program I can download to get the chat feature enabled on my Yahoo Messenger?

Adium is an instant messaging client that supports many different instant messaging services, including Yahoo Messenger. I use it for AIM and I love it. you can download it for free at www.adiumx.com

I'm a Yahoo Messenger fan on the Windows platform and yes, I too was disappointed to see the mac version does not support voice. Their website makes no mention of when they might support it, if ever. Sorry.

You could get around this of course by installing WinXP using Parallels or VMware Fusion and running the windows version of Yahoo Messenger inside the virtual machine. I tried it and got it to work.
