Photo in upper right corner

Go to edit in the contact's profile and edit the picture. Hit the picture, hit 'Edit Photo" and touch 'Set Photo'. Picture will now come up full screen when they call.

I cant speak for the mac, but on a PC I can tell you this...

What I found out is that if you add a photo on the phone it goes big screen, but if I add a picture via outlook on my pc it looks just like the ad... It may be the phone, it may just be a resolution issue (maybe outlook shrinks the photo down). it could be how outlook loads the infomation, add a photo into your Mac address book then resync and post back if that solved the issue

It is the same for MAC. If your picture pre-exists in your address book, it will show as a thumbnail. If it's a picture you take with the iphone and choose it for a contact or a picture from an existing picture library you sync to the iphone from your computer, it will show full screen.

P.S. Is it me or does the thumbnail show up on the top left hand corner as oppose to the right?

That is my opinion... just have it as an option.. full screen or thumbnail in the corner..

That would only make sense.. shouldn't have to jump through hoops for such a trivial thing!

Here's the deal:

If you attach a photo to a contact from your Mac or PC, that photo shows up as a thumbnail in the upper right corner for inbound or outbound calls.

If you attach a photo to a contact from your iPhone, or, if you attach it on your PC then EDIT it on your iPhone, either way, the image shows up full screen for inbound and outbound calls.

Once a photo is edited on the iPhone... it works as full screen from then on.

Many of us think this is a small bug and the intent is for the image to be full screen. But who knows!???

If I'm not mistaking.. It's top left if you're receiving a call.. top right when you're placing a call.... i thinks it's both!

my question was does outlook create the thumbnail (smaller file size) or does the iPhone read the sync different
