miniDVD camcorder with iMac

Have iMac computer (MacOS 10.4.10) with both USB 2 and Firewire ports. Have Canon DC230 DVD Camcorder which uses 8cm mini DVD-RW disks

MiniDVD disks are not compatable with slot-loading DVD drive on iMacs.

I need an external DVD drive to read the miniDVD disks (8cm).

Any recommendations? All I've found so far that will take 8cm disks say windows OS required.
