Any fun or useful software (preferably free)?

Just got a MacBook, and I was wondering if there's any fun software to download that adds useful features or has useful information for the system or whatever you just find fun!

I use a lot of freeware and shareware, it's part of the fun of having a Mac! My favorites, all obtainable from www.macupdate.com, are 1)VirtueDesktops (freeware) - gives you more than 1 desktop; 2) Quicksilver (freeware) - finds, moves, opens, mails files and much more; 3) DragThing (shareware) - alternate, customizable docks; 4) smcfancontrol (freeware, donations accepted) - keeps my macbook running cool; 5) journler (freeware, donations accepted) - exceptional record-keeping/journaling software.
