Unfreezing iPod 5th Generation Video

My ipod is frozen and will not unfreeze no matter what I do. i've tried the 5 r's but it doesn't work. on the screen comes up a little battery icon with a triangle and an exclamation point inside th triangle. Does anyone know what to do?

Are you certain that it's a battery icon. Check here

and scroll down a bit to see the possible error icons.

positive. it's a battery with a triangle and an exclamation point.
