How can I export my contact list via bluetooth to cars hands free/bluetooth

That is supposed to happen automatically as a function of the radio - at least in does for my radio. Did you check the manual for the Bluetooth radio? There isnt any option on the iPhone to "tell it" to sync via bluetooth.

I don't think the iPhone supports export of contacts via bluetooth. I've found no way to do it in my Toyota, though since I still have the contacts I imported to it from my previous phone, it wasn't a big deal the iPhone didn't facilitate it.

I have been frustrated over this, too. I found a link on Toyota's website regarding bluetooth syncing with mobile phones. See http://toyota.letstalk.com/brands/toyota-bt/home.htm . Unfortunately, the iPhone is listed as incapable of transferring the address book. I had previously successfully transferred my address book from my Palm Treo. However, since I had literally hundreds of entries, I found it unmanageable to search from the Toyota's Navigation screen. I stupidly erased my entire address book from the Toyota and then attempted to transfer a smaller address book from my iPhone.
