How do I get iTunes to scan my computer and find all the music on my comput

Usually, when you install iTunes it will ask you, do you want iTunes to automatically scan the computer for all music files and add them to your library, but this time it didn't ask me. HOw can I get the music from my computer into iTunes without having to add each song individually?

Using the add folder option you can add the contents of folders to the library in stead of individual files.

Unfortunately iTunes doesn't do folder watching.

There is a possible workaround, you might take a look at iTunes Library Updater:
