Why does it take so long to load my iweb pages

I'm brand new to using iWeb and this is my first attempt at a webpage: http://web.mac.com/cankuhnster It is a report on what I did and the San Diego Comic Con last week.

Can anyone give me suggestions on what I can do to make my pages load faster? I love the way the pages look but it takes a while to get the page to load.

Thanks,
Steve

by the way I love, love, love the ease of using iWeb

You have a lot of images loading at once. Nothing to worry about.

If you want pages to load faster you'll need less images on a page.

Your page includes a 1913X7068 .png file that weighs in a 4.7MB's. Not Web friendly.

I don't know how you made it (it may have been done by iWeb) but you should find a way to break it up into its parts (images and text).
