Yep, time to chunk the old G4 in the trash can.

Unfortunately, that is often the point for making new software.

People like me love their dual G4's and want 10 years of productivity out of them.

I talked my sister into purchasing a 24" iMac two months ago.

She is going to be TICKED when she sees the new iMac.

You guys... don`'t fret - Imovie 08 is seriously different... makes me long for the days of IMovie 06 which thankfully stays installed (apple obviously knew the jig wouldn't get past anyone) This is a seriously under developed piece of software... it has some nice perks... but it no longer has effects or themes (didnt use them - but others did) It doesn't use the time tested time line... rather a thumbnail paragraph... that looks more confusing then anything I have ever used... Wait for it to mature... we are back at square one here... If you want to do a seriously simple edit... it works perfect...
