Can'r print from iPhoto to HP Phoosmart A516. Can you help?

My husband just bought me an HP Photosmart A516, a compact 4x6 photo only printer. I can't seem to print to it from iPhoto 5.0.4. I've updated the page setup in iPhoto; updated the driver for the printer; checked the settings for the printer; and several other tips that I've found online (this has been going on for over a week now). Does anyone else have one of these printers? How did you get it to work?

iBook G4, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

I wanted to add a little more detail. I select the photo I want to print and go to file > print. I choose the printer, size 4 x 6, 1 photo per page. It takes me to the print queue window and says the print jobs is stopped. I click to start it, then the window disappears and I get a message that nothing on the document is selected. Over and over. What should I do?

I have a friend who is having similiar problems. We have been trying to work on it, too. I think you have to export from iPhoto and import the photo to the HP image zone software and print from there. good luck.

Are you trying to print 4x6 borderless? If so I have the same problem using Iphoto and an HP 3210 All in One Photosmart printer. It will not print borderless 4x6 photos from the photo tray 4x6 which it has. However if I used Aperture it will or if I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 it will. I have come to the conclusion that Iphoto will NOT print borderless prints. I have tried every configuration I can try using Iphoto and it will NOT print borderless.

Hi there! I'm having the same problem. Is the issue with iPhoto or any other printing program?
IS there a work around so we can print with the iPhoto?
