How to insert an image into a table ?

Hi everyone,

With Pages '06 I used to create tables with two rows and one coloumn.
One row to drag-n-drop pictures into it, and the second one is to write the figure number.

Now with Pages '08, I don't seem to be able to do that. Is there any workaround way of doing that ?
If not then is there a smarter way of inserting an image, and then adding a description about the image below it ?

Thanks

Mmmm

Strange that something like this would get lost.

There are a couple of workarounds.

1. Position your cursor in the cell that you want the image in and select Choose... from the Insert Menu. Select the file with the image you want to use.

2. Change the Cell Background setting to image fill.

You can also copy and paste images from applications or the media browser. If you want the image in the cell then you just have to make sure the insertion point is there before pasting.

HTH.
