Lawrence,

I picked up two solutions to try: a $4 set of gel covers from:

http://www.cellphoneshop.net/bleaco1.html

And the $19 EarJams from Griffin Technology:

http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/earjams/

The gel covers are okay, but are not tight enough on the Apple Headset unless you put a drop of superglue on a point or 2. The package contains 3 sizes to find the match for your ear shape.

The Griffin just arrived today and I think I like them better. They snap on seemingly tight and again have 3 sizes of gels to fit the ear.

They are white plastic, so you might want to use a bit of black shoe polish for your designer genes.

For me, the perfect solution to fit (comfort and having it stay in my ear) has been to use a Jabra EarGel. I got them from Amazon, with each package containing three pair (small, medium and large)...

The fit of the eargel on the Apple Bluetooth Headset is tight, so work it onto the headset carefully. But once it's in place, it will stay there with reasonable care inserting and removing it from your ear. Of course, if you just grab the boom of the headset and rip it out of your ear, the EarGel is gonna remain in your ear. Just gently pull the EarGel and it'll come out with the headset attached.

I did first try a Griffin EarJam, but it stuck way out from my head, and in no way followed the line of my jaw (i.e., it kind of stuck out into space). Not to mention the fact that the EarJam is white, so it looked ridiculous. But the Jabra EarGel I am using is clear, and I end up with the absolutely perfect positioning.

I know nobody wants to spend more money after the cost of the headset itself, but the EarGel pak is $9.00 and pretty much a no brainer.

I couldn't be more pleased... 🙂

Eeek, I'm not sure I'd like black shoe polish in my ear! 😉

I got a 99 cent bottle of black nail polish, and painted the Earjam. Dries shiny, coated well with no more than two coats of polish, doesn't make the plastic any harder to fit onto the headset, and the feel of the headset is much more secure, imo. Do try the various sizes of the silicone pads that fit onto the Earjam, to see which size works best for you.

I think Parrotgeek's earclip is pretty snazzy too, but I wear earrings and glasses, so I think I'm good with the Earjam for now.

Hope this helps.
