iDVD '08 won't install

I've installed the rest of iLife (using the customize option in the installer), but whenever I am installing iDVD, it gets to 57% in the Installing iDVD Themes section, then stops and says:
"There were errors installing the software.

Please try installing again."

So far I have tried restarting my computer, and making sure that all the package contents for iDVD 6 (which was previously installed) were set to read and write.

Can anyone help?

Maybe not at 10GB, but we advise 20GB+ free for encoding with iDVD and that has been proven over and over. This is why I have a Terabyte of hard drives for this stuff.

Most software needs more space to install than the software package size.

*System Requirements:*

Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 processor; iMovie requires a Mac with an Intel processor, a Power Mac G5 (dual 2.0GHz or faster), or an iMac G5 (1.9GHz or faster; iDVD requires a 733MHz or faster processor. 512MB of RAM; 1GB recommended
Mac OS X v10.4.9 or later
_*3GB of available disk space*_
DVD drive for installation
QuickTime 7.2 or later
