hp psc 1610 all-in-one not connecting

All of my connections to my computer from the printer are connected and it still does not print anything. it will do all of the photo copying and scanning but the connection for printing doesn't seem to work. this printer has given me problems like this from the beginning. Please help if you can!!! thanks!!!
