Tethering Palm Treo 750 using BT

I have Verizon service for my Treo 700W, and am trying to tether them for Internet access. They pair up ok, but I can not get them to connect to the Internet via the Mac.

Do I need separate username / password combos?

I have been researching a similar case but it is my iMac 20" to a Treo 650. I have found how to use the Treo as a modem via bluetooth for the computer, but not the other way around use the computer internet connection to access internet on the Treo. Apperantly but not sure it only works if the Treo would have WiFi. If you find something out would appreciate you post here.

Wow! Could you please tell me how to use my Treo 755P (Sprint) as a modem for my laptop? I'm utterly perplexed!

...sure would be nice to have access to the internet via my Treo 755p also.
(without paying Sprint an extra $50-60.00 for the wifi card, as the voice and data package runs about $90.00 already!)

actually, i haven't needed to yet as i only use my laptop at work and home (where i have internet access), but it would be nice to have another option!
