HELP! Presentation on MONDAY...Printing presenter notes....they all overlap

Can you just edit each of the slide notes?

Glad you got it to work. So I have a question, does the text rollover show up on the screen or just printed?

Although I don't have a powerpoint(created on MS Windows) with presenter notes that were long enough, I was still able to run a little test. I took a presentation created in MS Windows and added long text to every other page's presenter notes(Office 2004) and wasn't able to duplicate your results. At least it doesn't show up on the screen.

I'll see if I can dig up another presentation with long'ish notes.

This is defenetly a bug.

I've got the same thing: notes overlap each other. I just printed my presentation with notes into pdf and all notes overlap.

Where can I submit this bug? (just trail user still, really getting annoyed by these things already)

To make the bug more clear:

Notes overlap with the PREVIOUS slide.

So if you have like slide 1 with a note, this note is also printed on slide 2, but together with slide 2 (on screen in PDF, so after printing).

I do have long notes by the way, but not that long... line in 4-10 lines per sheet.

In the meantime just save a copy in a previous version of Keynote (that option is available on the "save as" screen. And use that copy for printing only. The transitions will not copy across but it doesn't matter for printout

Or do you mean like in that you should open that file in Keynote 06 (which of course I do not have anymore!).

Yes, If you didn't save a copy of a previous issue (or never had one) This work-around won't work-around

I just wanted to move this back to the top so more people will see it and hopefully contact apple. This is not a request for an inhancement - it is a serious bug

This seems like a serious bug and this is no solution, but a workaround is to export (in File menu) as pdf and then to print that one. In that case the notes are all right.

Same problem - when printing slides and notes the notes from the previous page are superimposed on the those of the current page, making the notes illegible.
The Export to PDF option is a partial fix but I don't seem to be able to delete the slide background like I can with the Print function (ie for printing on white paper). Also the settings are unsuitable and cannot be changed. And finally, the Compress PDF option is not available.

The ability to distribute a PDF of my slides and notes is very important for my business. At the moment I regret upgrading to iWork 08.

I have the same problem. Printing from a PDF does not solve the problem.

My work around is to individually print each slide and presenter notes.

Hope the update comes soon. Until then, I'm using Keynote 06!

When I tried to present my slides last week, I could not project mine without the notes showing. The screen for the audience had both the screens and the clock and the timer as well as the notes.

Please stay on topic. Your problem has nothing to do with Printing notes on paper.
