Accounts
In the Accounts preferences there is "Name" and "Short Name". "Short Name" is always grayed out - even when I unlock the page. How do I change the "Short Name"? Thanks.

You can't, as it can cause monstrous problems.
If you really want a different short name, a new account will have to be started.
Files can be transfered if put in the shared folder. I don't believe account setting as with Safari and mail can be transfered.
