Files dont appear on desktop

Files dont appear on desktop

Hi,

Newly downloaded files will not appear on desktop i ran the install disk and disk utility and everything is fine any help would be great

What the ? Anyway files i download dont appear on my desktop when i download them i have used the install disk and use disk utilitys and everything is fine but still have the same problem any help would be great

Hi Ulrics, Welcome to Apple Discussions.

If you are using Safari to download look in Safari menu >> Preferences >> General and be sure in "Save downloaded files to" that "Desktop" is chosen. Also, whatever else was chosen is where your downloaded files are.
